TUI BLUE Meltemi in Santorini was designed as a contemporary adults-only hotel located next to the black beach of Perissa, aiming to create a calm and refined environment that combines Cycladic architecture with high-end modern design. The architectural composition is based on clean white volumes, internal courtyards, and linear pathways that organize the complex into a cohesive experience of relaxation and privacy.

The concept focuses on creating a seamless hospitality experience where rooms and suites are developed around pools and outdoor living areas, strengthening the connection between interior and exterior spaces. Private terraces, swim-up rooms, and suites with private whirlpools were designed to offer a sense of understated luxury and exclusivity for every guest.

The design follows a contemporary interpretation of Cycladic architecture, with minimal geometries, natural textures, and neutral color palettes. White surfaces, natural plaster finishes, stone elements, and refined details are combined with modern furnishings and custom-made constructions, creating an atmosphere of elegance and tranquility.

Particular emphasis was placed on functionality and spatial flow throughout the complex. Outdoor pathways, relaxation zones, and shared hospitality areas were designed to gradually reveal the space, creating a sense of privacy while enhancing the overall guest experience.

Construction quality played a key role in the design approach. Clean material junctions, integrated lighting, custom details, and durable outdoor materials shape a result of high aesthetic standards and long-term durability within the island environment.

The result is a contemporary hospitality destination that reflects the philosophy of Cycladic living through a modern, luxurious, and authentic architectural approach, offering a complete experience of relaxation just steps from the black beach of Perissa.
